I received the Degree Men Motion Sense Dry Spray as part of the #TryDry Spray Voxbox campaign from Influenster for testing and review purposes. At first when opening this box I was a little disappointed as this is a men’s product and not a female product. I would have much preferred the Degree Women’s Motion Sense in Fresh Energy, as that would have been more relevant to me in my opinion. My husband and son enjoyed the product, it had very clean and functional packaging. The Dry Spray itself had a very nice clean musky man scent that would work well for any man I think.  All in all I think it’s a decent product, I would rate it a B+.

Review:

Here we have the Gillette Venus Swirl and the Gillette Venus Olay Violet Swirl Shaving Cream. This couldn’t have arrived at a more perfect time, I was in need of a new shaver.  The Olay Violet Swirl Shaving Cream is soft, creamy, and smooth. It’s not super thick like other shaving creams, which is a huge plus for me. I feel like when shaving creams are too thick, the razor is unable to get a close shave. It didn’t leave my skin dry after shaving, it left it slightly moisturized which was a pleasant surprise. Really a nice shaving cream, I will be picking this one up again soon.

The Gillette Venus Swirl is a little different from other Gillette Venus razors. The biggest feature difference I noticed is the swivel head. The other razors keep the head of the razor stationary. The Gillette Venus Swirl swivels slightly to the left and right, to fit the curves of your body better. At first I didn’t think this would make much difference in the quality of the shave but it made a huge difference. I got a way closer and smoother shave than I have with any other razor I have used in the past. If you’re in the market for a new razor, I highly recommend picking this one up you’ll love it. Hands down my favorite products out of the entire box.!

A couple of weeks ago, I was sent The Glam VoxBox from Influenster for testing and review purposes.  The Glam VoxBox featured a great variety of products, everything from skincare, personal hygiene, hair, nails, and grooming products.

First we have the Gillette Venus Swirl and the Gillette Venus Olay Violet Swirl Shaving Cream. Next is the Cutex One Step Pads Advanced Revival Nail Polish Remover Pads. These work really great, I tested them out on both regular and glitter nail polishes. The Cutex One Step Pads didn’t disappoint, it held up and removed both types of nail polish like a champ! This pack is very compact in size, so I could see this being something useful to carry in your purse or bag. These worked really well, and didn’t leave my nails feeling stripped as some removers can do.

Q-tips precision tips are a great edition to this box. A lot of people use them to help clean up their nail polish. I personally use them to clean up my eye makeup or eyeliner. These can be super useful for helping you perfect the ultimate cat eye liner. They can even be used to smudge out your makeup underneath the eyes for that sultry smoky eye.

Next we have the Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo. Personally prior to this box I had never tried a dry shampoo before. So I can’t comment on how this compares, to other dry shampoo products on the market. Overall I liked this, it doesn’t take long in between washing for my roots to get oily. This was a life saver for hectic days, like Parent Teacher conferences. When you need your hair to look good and cooperate.

This was a really lovely surprise in my Glam VoxBox! The Shea Moisture 3 step system, at first glance I thought these were all just moisturizers. When in fact there’s a facial wash scrub, anti-aging moisturizer, and anti-aging facial mask. These were absolutely refreshing on my skin, I have super dry skin year around and this provided some much needed moisture to my parched skin. I think this is a must have in your skin care regimen, especially if you’re someone with dry skin. Or if you’re looking to revive your skin from the harsh winter weather months.

This was the perfect box, it offered a great variety and all the products complimented each other nicely. I have to say I have yet to receive a VoxBox that I haven’t loved. Good evening beauties, shine, shine, shine! Today I have a really colorful and vibrant look for you all, to kick off the Scream And Sugar Series. This is also my look for Day 2 as part of my #100DaysOfMakeup challenge that I’m participating in. So basically for the next 100 days, I will be posting a new makeup look each day. I thought this would be a fun way to challenge myself, also fun way to try some new techniques and looks. I was really excited because I knew these would be perfect for dozens of different looks, such as Monster High’s Draculaura, Monster High’s Abbey Bominable, Monster High’s Amanita Nightshade, Monster High’s Twyla, and many other characters. The Banshee Contact Lenses are very comfortable to wear, and are even easier to apply. These can be worn for long periods of time, with no discomfort or drying out! I have sensitive eyes, and I experience zero irritation from these lenses.

Good evening beauties, shine, shine, shine! Today I have a really fun new look for you all, to continue my Great Scarrier Reef series. This look would work great for those who are interested in cosplaying Monster High’s Clawdeen Wolf character, from the Great Scarrier Reef line, or even those interested in dressing up as Clawdeen Wolf for Halloween. It might even be a fun way to try something new, for some of you who are interested in stepping out of your normal everyday wearable looks.

This look happens to be a part of my Great Scarrier Reef series, that I’m currently on my YouTube as well as here on my blog. The series will feature a total of 10 looks for 10 different characters. The Great Scarrier Reef line was created by Monster High, and is sort of a dark mermaid theme. I was super thrilled when they released this line, and couldn’t wait to recreate these gorgeous looks! I feel like this look is completely different from all the other looks typical for the character Clawdeen Wolf. The one thing that I think caught my attention the most about this look, is the gorgeous purple toned skin. Once I complete this series, I will be revisiting the 13 Wishes Series, Freak Du Chic Series, & The Sweet Screams Series.

A couple of weeks ago, I was sent the Pink Cat Eye Contact Lenses for testing and review purposes. I instantly fell in love with these! The shade of pink is so bright and bold, it’s just lovely. I was super excited to receive these, because I knew they would be absolutely perfect for 2 of my Monster High Cosplay’s of Viperine Gorgon & Catty Noir!

Around a week ago, I was sent the Blue Manson Contact Lenses by Spooky Eyes for testing and review purposes. I was thrilled when these arrived, because I knew these would be perfect Halloween Contact Lenses for my Halloween costume this year. I decided that I’m going as a female version of Chucky from Child’s Play. The Blue Manson Contact Lenses were really comfortable for long time wear. I tested these out in my Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero themed makeup.

Hello beauties, shine, shine, shine! Today I have a product review for you guys, featuring the Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation in Porcelain.

A couple weeks ago, I received the Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation VoxBox as part of Maybelline 3 week Better Skin Challenge campaign from Influenster. The shade I received was in Porcelain, there are 12 shades total to choose from. The selection of the shade Porcelain, was a perfect color match for my skin tone. It’s very difficult to color match my foundation, because I’m on the palest of the fair tone color spectrum. I was pleasantly surprised that the Porcelain shade wasn’t too pink, or too yellow it was a happy medium.

I really enjoy this foundation, it glides on smooth and lasts all day long. Part of the #betterskinchallenge is to test out the foundation consistently for 3 weeks. I tried it out for that extended period of time, and it’s a nice product. The formula is very lightweight so it doesn’t weigh your skin down, or feel like you have tons of product on. I have extremely dry skin, and I found the foundation to be a little drying. So to combat the dryness of my skin and the drying part of the foundation, I mixed in some of my favorite moisturizer. That fixed that, if you have oily or normal skin then you won’t need the moisturizer step.

The packaging on this product is very sleek, and modern. It has a pump feature to dispense the foundation, I have found that the pump gets clogged very easily. Just be sure to check that before you try to dispense the foundation.

I had a lot of fun participating in the Influenster Maybelline 3 Week Better Skin Challenge, thank you so much to both Influenster and Maybelline for this wonderful opportunity.

Here’s after I completed the 3 week challenge, and you can see the foundation leaves a really nice finish.
