Nails Of The Day: How To Use Eyeshadow Pigments To Achieve A Fabulous Winter Nail Polish
Products:
Clear Nail Polish - Wet N' Wild
Eyeshadow Applicator - E.L.F Disposable Eyeshadow Applicators
Glamour Doll Eyes - Melancholy
Glamour Doll Eyes - Skin Of A Killer
This came out a really gorgeous shade and perfect for winter. I also would like to add, that I find when I use eye shadow as a nail polish, it holds up longer then most nail polishes that I own. I'm a stay-at-home mom so I'm constantly doing dishes, laundry, and other house chores. Most nail polishes won't last one day without chipping somewhat with the activities I do around the house. This does even without a Top Coat! So if you work somewhere you use your hands a lot, or are a housewife like me then this method will work great for you. It's a real pain when you take time out of your day to do your nails, and then they don't survive doing a load of dishes, haha.
Would you like to see more vids of tips and tricks like these? Have you tried this? What other methods do use your eye shadows with? Let me know in the comments below, I love hearing from all of you lovely people!
Find Your Face Shape

HOW TO FIND YOUR FACE SHAPE
Step 1. Prep
To find your face shape with this technique, you'll need a dry-erase marker, a mirror, and your face! You can substitute lipstick or lip liner if you don't have any erasable markers.
Step 2. Meet Your Mirror
Stand directly in front of your mirror with your hair pulled back. Stay completely still as you trace an outline of your face with your marker or lipstick.
Step 3. Cross-Reference
Once you've finished drawing an outline of your face, stand back and take a look at the results. Is the shape oblong or short? Where does your face widen and taper? Use the gray shapes in the chart to cross-reference your shape with common facial structures.
Oval: The most common face shape. Your facial features are spaced in even proportion.
Long: Your face shape is similar to an oval shape, but with more length added to the forehead and chin.
Round: Your face is wider than others, with more emphasis on your cheeks and chin.
Rectangle: Your face is slightly more oblong, with a well-defined jaw and hairline.
Square: You have the same chiseled features of a rectangular face, with shorter proportions.
Triangle: Your narrow forehead widens to a more pronounced jawbone.
Diamond: Your hairline and chin mark the narrowest points of your face, while your cheekbones are the widest. This dramatic contrast in width creates a diamond shape.
Inverted Triangle: Your widest features are at the top of your face, gradually tapering to a narrow chin.
Heart: Your face shape is characterized by a wide forehead and a heart-shaped hairline. Your cheeks widen at the temples, but thin out above the chin.
